Windows 10: Windows 11 Professional OEM losing activation

Hi. I work for a small IT company and we use Windows 11 Professional for our servers. We build these servers in house and install OEM Windows.About 3 months or so ago, almost every server we build loses Windows activation at some point. We can simply use the re-activation option in Windows and re-enter the same key we used initially and it's good to go. However, it's still an issue. Many times the computers are out in the field before it loses activation and it is not a great look for our company. Windows 11 fresh install different language OEM activation

Hello,

Currently on my laptop is Windows 10 Professional 64bit French-France activated by an OEM key (slmgr /dli gives OEM_DM channel) and my laptop is eligible for a Windows 11 upgrade.

I want to do a clean Windows 11 install, if I use Windows 11 English-United Kingdom .iso, will it be activated with OEM key?

There is no difference between the OEM disc and the Retail disc with Windows 7. A retail disc will accept a OEM or Retail key, and vise versa.

If the OEM Key wasn't going to work with the disc you have, it would have stopped you during the install when it first asked you for the key, not during activation.

What is likely the problem is that, since the OEM version has already been activated once, it is failing activation again. Activate it over the phone using the option given to you on the failed activation screen, and you shouldn't have a problem activating it.

 

Windows 10 Professional to windows 10 Home OEM

Hi,

I just purchased a new pc that came with windows 10 home (OEM license). I also have a windows 10 professional
license key that I obtained from my
dreamspark account.

The questions that I have are

1) Can the windows 10 professional license from dreamspark be transferable after it have been activated (i.e. PC with windows 10 professional broke down, can the windows 10 dreamspark license be transferred to another pc)?

2) If after upgrading to pro, will I lose my Windows 10 Home OEM license? Am I able to revert back to windows 10 home OEM license if I decided not to use my windows 10 pro license on the pc?
