Windows 11 randomly crashing - hardware confirmed working, software and drivers up to date.

I moved to Windows 11 very recently and not entirely of my own accord - I am a heavy user and have different suites of software on my daily driver for performing various different functions. After 3 years since my last Windows installation, and through changing the system my boot drive was housed in twice, my Windows 10 Professional installation finally gave up the ghost two weeks ago. Constant BSODs as soon as I would login, the ever-vague "IRQL-NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL" listed as the error.I would have performed a fresh Windows 10 installation there and then, since all my files were backed up elsew

    GPU-Z 0.8.7 crash on launch

W1zzard is asking you to test so that he can suggest next steps and be able to troubleshoot the issue you have.
If another version works, it would be one set of steps.
If several other versions also fail/crash, then it would be another.

  3. Computer Randomly Crashes

Could be a bad install of windows. Have you done a reinstall in the 1 year you've had it? My experiences suggest a software conflict over a hardware issue with freezing. Are you sure you have nothing running in the background?

If I was to pick a hardware issue I would go with PSU though. And do so memory tests.

Has anyone suggested a video card problem?

How To: Enable SLI on pre-i7/i5 hardware

intel chipets are the easiest from what i've read, vista/7 x64 being easiest to mod.

we'll have to wait for one of these guys to start the new thread, and we'll get the ball rolling.

I suggest the new thread follow this layout:

    list of confirmed working mods:

Files for X OS with driver version Y on chipset Z, confirmed working if follow these steps:

    Such as:
and then we scatter the rest of the builds throughout the thread as this one, and post mods that worked for at least one person as a "possibly working" section at the bottom of the first post. Once we get multiple reports, we move it up to the "confirmed working" - listing what motherboard chipsets it worked on
