Windows 10: Windows 11 re-install disk error following Linux Mint 22 install.

Hello good people! I have searched for a solution and tried several things to no avail. So I am asking here because this problem occurred following a clean install of Linux Mint 22 stable build. I want to preface this with this: I don't think this problem was caused by Linux Mint but rather something I did while installing Linux Mint. The problem: I mistakenly did a clean install of Linux Mint and wiped out my factory Windows 11 installation. At first, I was eager to have Linux Mint back and running on my decent, mid-range, gaming laptop. So, in my infinite wisdom, I used the partition man

Unable to access Windows after installed Linux Mint

Hello

So I installed Linux Mint on my laptop alongside Windows 11. Initially it was working well but I noticed that the Root drive for Linux was already full and I couldn't resize it. So I decide to unistall it and reinstall with bigher margins of space in all Linux partitions. Thisis where I messed something up. I accidentally deleted Windows boot files partition and immediately received Boot Device missing error upon restarting my computer. I figured I could create a bootable windows installation USB through Linux, so reinstalled Linux, created a bootable Windows device but somehow it is not recognizing the earlier version of Windows and unable to solve the problem.

I have tried other solution mentioned here like- Diskpart -> list drive -> list partition -> No partitions found

I have tried bootrec commands too, I get Element Not found as well no windows installation found

In Linux when I run sudo fdisk -l, I can see the drive where Microsoft files are saved. But I see 3 partitions for EFI.

Kindly suggest help!

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

unable to install windows 10 on linux mint

Okay so it's getting late and I won't be able to try half of the things you suggested, but I have few discoveries I want to add.

I tried to install windows 10 on the ssd with another laptop which succeeded and it worked okay with that other laptop. What I tried was to add this preinstalled ssd on the linux laptop and try boot it from there. It didn't initially succeed, but activating legacy mode on bios made it that the windows actually booted and I managed to even login. Thing is it will usually in under a minute shut down immediately without any errors. Weirdly enough this doesn't seem to happen with the hdd that already had linux mint installed.

So in short I'm able to boot windows on preinstalled ssd, but it always eventually crashes. Same thing with windows installation usb, but for some reason it won't happen with the linux mint hdd.

One thing to note is also that trying to use windows stuff whether it's the usb or the preinstalled hdd is that the fans of the laptop goes to full power and it kinda feels like it will shut down because of overheating, but thats just a hunch and I need to investigate it more tomorrow.
