Windows 10: Windows 11 REGISTRY_ERROR

Installed Windows 11. Worked fine for months. One day, the surface stopped recognizing my second screen connected via usb-c hub. Verified second screen, hub, and usb-c port functioning properly. After several restarts, reinstalled windows. Windows crashed. Windows is now boot looping and blue screening with REGISTRY_ERROR message. This is upsetting since I am a student and this is my school computer. I paid over $2000 for this laptop and all of this occurred 1 month after the warranty ended. Now Microsoft is quoting me near $1000 to replace my laptop and none of my data outside the cloud will

Registry_error

My computer recently started crashing and it shows a blue screen with a sad face that says Registry_error. It used to be when i left it idle but now it crashes when I use it. Any suggestions? I can’t get it to stop crashing. It doesnt crash in safemode.

 

BSOD Registry_Error help

So since last night I have been getting a BSOD shortly after windows loads with the message "Registry_Error." Has happened both at overclocked and stock settings for everything. Has anyone seen it before, have ideas on how to possibly fix it, or should I just reinstall windows?

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )
