Windows 10: Windows 11 reinstall and the issue with no power off after successful shutdown is back....

Recently I had an unrecoverable issue with Windows 11 and had to do a clean install. Now that I am back up, I once again have a couple of issues that I had previously and with help got it resolved. But I can't find all of my notes and what I have do not resolve the issues. The issues are:1. When going to the start menu and selecting shutdown ... the PC goes through all the normal shutdown processes, but the PC never powers off. I can only use the power button on the PC ... hold for 3 seconds ... then the power turns off.2. When going to the start menu or any other pathway for a restart su

Windows 10 shutdown power still light and fan still working

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Remove all the externally connected devices and cables including the battery.
• Hold the power button for about a minute and release the power button.
• Connect only the power cable and power on the PC.
• Check if the issue persists.

Windows 10 power issue

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

I suggest you to follow the steps bellow and check if it helps

Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Power troubleshooter

Method 2: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website. Both Display
driver and Audio drivers.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.
