Windows 11 Remove/Disable 'Related Support' sections in Settings menus

Is there any way to disable the "Related support" section in Windows 11 Settings? It's very annoying because they blend in with the other sub sections of whatever Settings page and sometimes I end up clicking one of them by mistake which minimizes settings and opens a browser window with a bunch of usually irrelevant stuff to what I'm doing.

    :)

  2. Recommended Section Windows 11 : how to display again a file removed from the list ?

    Hello,

I like the Recommended section of Windows 11 in Start Menu, especially to open files that I am using frequently.

For some files, I asked Windows 11 by mistake to remove them from the Recommanded section by a 'Right Click' -> Remove from the list.

Now, I want to have them again in the Recommended section.

But I cannot find the way to reinitialize the Recommended section settings or to add them back in the list one by one.

I tried to activate/deactivate Recommended section but it does not do that.

    Any advice ?

    Thank you for your help.

  3. Disable the Settings app and all related sub-menus.

    Hello Landon,

Unfortunately, Settings is a pretty integrated item in Windows 10. You can't disable it without also disabling the Control Panel.

However, here's a list of tutorials below that can make it much easier to use the Control Panel (All Tasks) by either shortcut, taskbar toolbar, Win+X menu, context menu, etc.., that I hope will help some.

    Remove recommed section

    Hi Brandon.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The Recommended section on the Start Menu in Windows 11 cannot be removed, there is no setting or even a registry hack that can remove it.

if you have version 22h2 of Windows 11 installed, you can re-size the Recommended section to be much smaller, that is the only setting currently available for that section
