  1. Windows 11 reorganising 'Pictures'

I have Windows 11 Home, Version 22HZ. Previously with Vista I had a 'Photos' section where, if I added some photos from my camera, they went into a monthly dated folder. Since the conversions to Windows 10 and then 11 I now have a 'Pictures' section where added photos appear as separate items. Somewhere along the line of updates I've found some photos have 'jumped' to a different folder or have been duplicated in several folders. So I'm now looking to reorganise my photos but as a simple, basic user of technology I find a lt of the available tutorials go right over my head! In many cases the s

    memory reorganiser N97

The memory reorganiser sis file has been removed from the N97 web site because it didn't function properly. Instead, you should use the instructions in the original post of this thread by carman58 if you want to run again the reorganiser:

    • Select Menu > Settings > Application mgr. > Installed apps. and uninstall "Reorganiser Uninstaller"
    • Select Menu > Applications > SW Update and install "Memory reorganiser"
Note that you must have N97 20.0.019 or later, the reorganiser application is not available for the older device versions.

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

    • I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

    • Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.
That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

    Windows 11 reorganising 'Pictures'

    Reorganiser

That's what I was expecting, but the application is nowhere to be found. The installer says it was installed successfully after sending it over from the PC via Bluetooth. And the App. Manager says that the "Reorganiser Uninstaller" is installed on the E:
device, but the icon does not appear.

    What do you suggest?
