    Windows 11 repeatedly disconnects from wifi and audio devices


    My laptop keeps disconnecting from wifi. I know the issue isn't my network because my phone is also connected to it. Here's what I've tried so far:set network type to privatechecked that drivers for adapter Intell 6E AX211 160MHz are up to datedisabled MIMO power save modeNone of it had any effect.A lot of these things require restarts, and this stupidly temperamental OS also does something during startup that prevents it from detecting audio devices half the time, requiring another restart.I've already had to re-install this garbage heap of an OS twice in the month that I've had it.     Yes this only happens on this computer with windows 11.

    i also tried the steps you provided but they did not fix the problem that i am facing.

    it is not that the device disconnects fully, just the audio part stops working and it does not get listed/used as an audio device inside windows anymore. i dont know how to fix this but i hope somwone knows a workaround

    • If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

    Windows 11 messed up audio devices

    Hey all, I just upgraded to windows 11 from 10, and now all my audio devices are messed up. I used to have it as my speakers that are plugged into the front audio port, and my headphones/mic plugged into the back. They were listed as 2 separate devices that I could toggle between. Since I went to 11, it is now showing as 1 audio device only and the audio plays from speakers and headphones at the same time. any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks
