    Windows 11 restarts when I Lock my user


    Recently my computer started rebooting itself or completely signing out when I lock my user / machine. Meaning when I lock my computer via Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Lock; or via the Start menu, user, Lock. When I return to my computer and unlock it, its as if I just turned on my computer and its booting up. This is REALLY annoying because I cannot lock my computer when leaving my desk without everything closing and restating when I return to unluck my computer.Build #: 22621 Caption: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Version: 10.0.22621Help is greatly appreciated on this.Thanks

    Lock screen image changes after restart

    Hello,

    Is the account you are signing in to is a Microsoft Account or a local user account?

    We suggest that you create a new local user account and see if the lock screen reverts back when your device restarts. You may follow the steps below on how to create a local user account:

    • Click the Start button, then select Settings
      > Accounts > Family & other people > Add someone else to this PC.
    • Enter a user name, password, password hint, and then select Next.
