Windows 10: Windows 11 right click not passing to application

Hi,A bit different from other threads I have read. The Right Mouse click does do all the Windowsy things it is supposed to.However, when the cursor is hovering over my application icon, it is supposed to pass the keystroke to my application that then pops up a user defined menu. Instead I get a Windows11 intercept menu. So it technically works, just not the way it does in all previous versions of Windows. And I do mean all, as in all the way back to Windows 3.1, DOS days.And it worked on the first several versions of Windows 11.How do I tweak this?Boyd

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

Right click function of an application

Hello

After right clicking on an application on taskbar it displays a list of history or recently used things but again right clicking on a particular thing suppose a video, folder, program etc the drop down menu is not visible means not transparent.

Also if i take the pointer slightly towards right of the menu it shows the drop down menu options but not fully transparent that is it is not overwriting over the list of options after the 1st right click on an application of taskbar.

Please solve the problem and give necessary suggestions.

If you're not trying to install Window 11 right now, look at, but don't do any of the workaround steps. Just letting you know so you're not tempted or confused and try any of them on your main PCs *Smile

If you have extra test PCs, then let me know how you like Windows 11 if you decide to try it with the workarounds.
