Windows 10: Windows 11 right mouse click not working.

I have tried EVERYTHING I have read online to try to fix this. This just started happening last week today is 7/19/24 I have an HID compliant mouse. It is plugged in with a USB on my desktop computer. Mouse has been tested- mouse is not the problem- same problem with other mouses. I have uninstalled and installed again the mouse. Restarted computer. Deleted some programs someone suggested which now have screwed up my computer. Checked for viruses. And more. Nothing seems to resolve this. One suggestion was on the HID mouse in control panel to right click on it which of course I cannot- not

unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

I don't know what you've tried exactly unless you list it, so I gave everything to be sure it was all covered. This is a known issue in Windows 11 with fixes that almost always work.

Because you said that it happens with any other mouse, which absolves the mouse, I also gave you a checklist to go over Windows that will find and fix most problems. Those steps should isolate any cause if they are run as shown.

If you want to report this to Microsoft you can use the Feedback Hub in Windows Start Menu. This is the forums where other users try to help with your problems, Microsoft will not even see this here.

Mouse and keyword stop working at the same time in Windows 11. Once when it happened uninstallation of Antivirus was stopped. I have read many articles on the internet but they have not solved the problem. Some of them are listed below:

I contacted a technician in Microsoft but he cannot solve the problem. I have a feeling that the problem is caused by cyberattacks because they happen usually in the daytime and not in the nighttime. I ran my computer without connecting to the internet and the problem did not happen. Please suggest how can I solve the problem.
