Windows 10: Windows 11 running slow / Search Tab not working

I guess it was a huge error to update to W11. After the update KB5010795 my laptop just turned into a potato. When it's connected, is slow. I've done every "solution" I've seen in forums, Microsoft Support, etc, and nothing works. I have the latest version of W11 KB5010795 and when I installed it, the problem was solve but, voilá, after like 2 days the problem came back. This is a 1 year old laptop, 1660 ti, i7-8750h, 16gb of ram and plenty of space in my hard drive, so I can't understand why is running so slow when it's connected to power after I installed one of the recents Windows 11 upda

As a work around, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that helps:

  Right Click on the Start Menu.
  
• 
  Click on Task Manager.
  
• 
  Choose Details tab.
  
• 
  Right-click on SearchUI, and
  End task.
  

If the issue persists, I suggest you to run the Search and Indexing troubleshooter and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click Search and Indexing.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

6. Check if issue persists.

IE 11 not working

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

I would suggest you to run System maintenance troubleshooter.

Try the followings steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Select "System maintenance"
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.
