Windows 10: Windows 11 S Mode enable pdf preivew

I am running Windows 11 in S Mode and would like to enable pdf previews in file explorer. Any suggestions?Thanks,Tract

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Thanks for your help. I was browsing the web the other day and I found a page called FINAL DRAFT. They had a set of instructions for reinstalling the Microsoft Print to PDF utility that worked great for me. Problem solved.

 

PDF does not open in IE 11

We would like to inform you that the feature to open pdf in IE 11 by default is not available in Internet explorer 11. However, if you download any pdf in internet explorer 11, you can select Open option and it will open the pdf in Microsoft Edge.



We suggest you to give us your valuable feedback using the feedback app. To open feedback app, please follow the below steps:



1. In the Search bar, type Windows Feedback.

2. Select the Windows Feedback icon and hence start the feedback app to provide your feedback.
