Windows 10: Windows 11 Screen Casting Issue

Hi!So i have been having issues with trying to screen cast my laptop to a mini-PC connected to a TV Screen in our Meeting Room.I have set up everything correctly on my laptop and the mini-PC for the screen casting to work, but here is when the issue starts -On the TV mini-PC i will open the Wireless Display App, and once it is open, it shows what it should be showing, the blue screen with the Desktop name and the text below reading 'is ready for you to connect wirelessly.'.Now once this is up, i will hit Windows + K to bring up the mini pop up menu which lists the available devices to connec

Windows 11 casting

I am seeking assistance with the casting function on Windows 11. I have attempted to cast my laptop screen to three different TVs, which are compatible with the casting feature and work well with other two laptops that also have Windows 11 installed. Thus, the issue seems to be related to one specific installation of Windows. My laptop meets the requirements for casting, such as Miracast and HDCP support.

I have taken several troubleshooting steps, such as disabling the firewall and antivirus, ensuring that the TV and the laptop are on the same Wi-Fi network, not using VPN, and updating the network and video drivers. My video card is a Nvidia GeForce 3060. Windows can detect the TVs as available devices for casting, but the connection fails.

I am at a loss of what else to do to resolve this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Do you get any error message when you try to cast the device?
• Does the issue happen when you don't use cast to device, I mean when you are online?
• Which device do you use to cast the content?

If the issue happens only when you cast the device, the issue can be that of the casting device. In that case I would request you to execute the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

• How are you casting the screen?
