Windows 10: Windows 11 Screen Timeout

So...is there anyway to stop my laptop from locking after only 1 min. of inactivity? I've changed every setting even changed to "NEVER" and it still locks after one minute of not touching it. It is driving me absolutely BONKERS!!! Nothing seems to work gone to the Registry Editor and fixe that but it still locks after 1 minute. I hope this is a glitch and not some permanent thing. Otherwise I am going back to Apple. lol. J/k I can't afford Apple.5I am currently usingevice name Acer-Aspire-5 Processor IntelR CoreTM i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.11 GHz Installed RAM 8.00 GB 7.83 GB

How to change the Screen Timeout settings

  Right click on the desktop and click on Personalization.

  Click on Lock screen
  
• 
  On the bottom of the screen click on Screen Timeout.
  
•

To address your concern, we suggest that you adjust your screen timeout setting. It helps you set the time on how long before the screen will be locked due to inactivity.

You can follow the steps below on how to set your screen timeout:

1. Right-click on the Desktop, then choose Personalize.

2. Click Lock screen found on the left pane.

3. Click Screen timeout settings at the bottom part of the page.

4. Choose your preferred screen timeout on the drop down list under Screen.

• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.
