Windows 10: Windows 11 screenshots are delayed while in-game

Recently, my screenshots have been completely delayed with what they produce. I try to take a screenshot, and then tab over to the screenshots folder, and then the image it produces is of the start menu, a black screen, or something from a few seconds ago to over an hour ago. I've looked it up and couldn't find the same problem anywhere, but I've updated keyboard drivers, kept snipping tool in the background, repaired and reset it, done an integrity verification scan, updated permissions, and it still doesn't work. It hasn't always done this, either, it just started about a month ago.

In order to analyze your problem as accurately as possible, open the Task Manager while playing the game or experiencing this kind of delay and take screen shots of usage or recreate videos.

Then please provide start/search bar delayed or delayed replay video. You can use the screenshot tool to create a re-created video of the affected area.

In addition, I still have some information to confirm:

1. Are you currently playing cloud-based games or locally installed games?
   
2. Are you playing a game that requires you to connect to a server?
   
3. Are you experiencing delays in server connections, P2P, and local-only games?

Windows 10 Screenshots delayed and/or not capturing shots of what's directly on the screen?

As it says in the title, screenshots are extremely delayed and/or just not capturing what's directly on the monitor.

Snipping tool is off and no delay set, and I've tried Printscreen and Windows-Printscreen, both give the same result.

I'm trying to capture screenshots from games, but it always takes shots of the exit menus or other random screens, not what I'm actually looking at.

I have a gaming PC, Windows 10, and only one monitor.

I'm really confused by this. Any ideas?

Sorry for the delayed response.

• What do you mean when you say "front jack is not working getting noise in that?"
• Can you hear sound through earphones or external Speakers?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Open Device Manager (Windows key + letter 'X').
• Click on the option View over the top and choose Show Hidden Devices.
• Expand "Sound, Video and Game Controllers."
• Delete the drivers that are greyed out.
• Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
