    Every time my internet connection is slow, the search functions is loading something up from the internet not allowing me to search for local files. How to completly disable this function?

    Which is why I suggested he try there instead. TPU is too limited of a user base to search here alone for anything gaming related.

    Can you be a little bit more specific about "I tried that"?

    Did you:

    1. Try the first suggestion?
    2. Try the second suggestion?
    3. Try both suggestions?
    4. Restart your PC/laptop/device after making each change (so the change would take effect)?

    Try the following steps:

    I would suggest you to run Internet Connectivity troubleshooter:





    Try the following steps:


    • Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.

    • Click “View All”

    • Select "Internet Explorer connection"

    • Click next to run the troubleshooter.
