Windows 10: Windows 11 security keep asking for approval for App & browser control

Hi,ProblemOur Desktop PC is functioning normally, but every time the PC is started Windows Security always has a warning icon for App & Browser control that must be dismissed to clear the warning.Build InfoOur desktop PC is a 64-bit PC running Windows 11 Home vsn 23H2 OS Build 22631.3085.The Windows updates are up to date with the latest being KB5034204 that was installed on 5-Feb.Our desktop has the 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700K CPU with 64GB of DDR5 memory four x 16GB G.SKILL Trident Z5 and the Intel UHD Graphics 770.We have 2 users set up, both with Admin privileges.Motherboard / BIOS

App and Browser Control crashing in Windows 11

Please check your SecHealthUI package version by running the following command in PowerShell.

• get-appxpackage *sechealth*
  

What's the version reported?

Also, check the following link.

• App & browser control won't show or open - Microsoft Community
  

If reinstalling the package doesn't help, you may have to repair install Windows 11.

 

Windows 11 Approved processor list

Unfortunately, the list for Windows 11 approved processors has been decides by Microsoft and here, we don't have any control over it. However, I know that only 8th gen Intel processors (and upwards) are included in the list, because they all meet the latest requirements for safety and security against malware.

I highly advise you against modifying your registry or any other Windows component to get Windows 11. You might not able able to get the updates later on, or even encounter security and stability problems.

Windows 10 will still be supported for the coming years !

How to restore Device security and App & Browser Control

Computer came with windows 10 installed. Microsoft said windows 11 could be installed so I did. Worked fine for some time then recently updates would be found but they would not update. Tried various fixes found on the internet but they did not fix the problem. Finally took the recommended step of reinstalling windows while maintaining my files. While updates now work there is a problem with the security built into windows 10 and 11. Device security now says: "Standard hardware security not supported" and App & Browser control is not working. Since there was no problem before it has to be a Microsoft glitch that caused this problem. Is there any way to resolve this problem without reloading windows?
