Windows 11 sees network drive but says it's not available

My NAS is visible in my Windows 11 Network listing but when I try to access it I get an error immediately saying it's not accessible 'network path was not found'. I can access the NAS drive using multiple other computers running Win10 on the network, phone, and even SmartTV. When I try to re-add the drive, I can see it in the list of available drives, but as soon as I click on it Windows says it's not available, also happens if I manually try to add it/map network drive using the server name or IP address. It does not appear on the list of drives if I try to 'disconnect a mapped network

    :)

  2. Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

Update us with the outcome so we provide further assistance.

  3. Windows 11 Probling with maping a network drive.

    Hello,

Certainly! Here are the steps to map a network drive using File Explorer in Windows 11:

    1. Open File Explorer:
      • Press Windows key + E on your keyboard to open File Explorer.
    2. Navigate to “This PC”:
      • Click on “This PC” in the left pane.
    3. Access the “Map Network Drive” Option:
      • Click the “More options” (three dots) button in the command bar.
      • Select the “Map network drive” option.
    4. Assign a Drive Letter:
      • Use the “Drive” dropdown menu to select the drive letter you want to assign.
      • In the “Folder” field, enter the network path to the shared folder. Alternatively, click the “Browse” button to select the folder you want to map as a network drive.
      • Click “Finish” to complete the assignment.
    5. Enter Login Credentials:
      • When the mapped network drive opens, enter your login ID and password if prompted.
Following these steps will allow you to map a network drive using File Explorer in Windows 11. Remember to use the IP address instead of the computer name if you can’t connect to the shared folder. Additionally, if the resource-providing device uses a password-less Microsoft account, you’ll need to create a local account to establish the connection, as mapping won’t work otherwise.

If it is helpful, could you please select "Yes" about "Was this reply helpful?".

I hope you will solve the problem. And, if you still have problems, feel free to ask us here.

    Best regards,

  4. Windows 11 sees network drive but says it's not available

Rebooting into Safe Mode with Networking sees no available networks

I'm trying to reboot the system into the Safe Mode with Networking (option 5). However, while regular mode is connected to the network the Safe Mode doesn't connect and doesn't give any available network list.

    Any suggestions?
