Windows 10: Windows 11 Settings app broken after the new update.

Hi, I recently updated my Windows 11. The Settings app has completely broken.1. It's not showing my PC name anymore.2. Wifi settings shows it off. But wifi still working correctly. Same things is shown if I go to 'Network & Internet'3. Audio is always stuck at 0 Volume. But the icon in the taskbar shows it's correctly.4. Windows Update menu completely blank.5. All links in the app is not working.These are the ones I could find. Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows Settings broken scrolling.

Tried safe mode (no internet) and get this when going to app settings.





Try resetting the settings app. In the start list find Settings and right click - More - App settings - reset.
