Windows 10: windows 11 settings my LG C4 TV has problems

When I enable HDR in the windows 11 settings my LG C4 TV has problems the screen goes off for a few split second and I hear a snap noise and I've seen rasta on screen too I have the latest drivers It can work for a while but then intermittently it will show the black screen and then I see HDR come up on the screen each time as it is red detecting HDR content there is some serious conflict between Windows 11 HDR and my LG C4 TV if I disable HDR I have no issues The fault acts as if it's like a loose wire screen flickering and so on but it's certainly not loose wire I have checked all these thin

LG TV Set casting problem from Win 11

Hey

I'm using a laptop with Win 11 and an LG WebOS TV set - model: QNED816QA.

Whenever I'm connecting between my laptop and the TV using "Multiple Displays > Connect" -there is a serious lagging trouble.

Does anybody have a solution to that? LG technicians say it's a Windows problem.

I can't get a video to stream to my lg smart tv in full screen , it's playing full screen on the pc no problem

To assist you better, I like to know; how exactly you are trying to stream video from your PC to LG Smart TV?

As an initial step, I suggest you to try updating the display adapter on your system.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on the Start button, and type Device Manager on the search bar.
• Open Device Manager, expand Display Adapters.
• Find and double-click Display Adapters from the left panel to update.
• Right-click the device, and click Update.

As you are able to play the video full screen in your PC, then it might be an issue related to LG Smart TV. I suggest you to check for the LG Smart TV manual and check what all settings need to done to play video in full screen.

LG TV Set casting problem from Win 11

Good day - I have a similar setup using W11 desktop and Edge (latest releases for both) with an LG 65in TV .

Both are LAN hardwired. For as long as I remember, casting to the TV regardless of source (Internet or local system) was never a problem; whatever was in the browser, could be cast to the TV.

Now, for some reason the LG TV is available as a casting device only when using YouTube, or local photos/video (so far, that's all I've been able to confirm) The mere fact that "Not available for this site" is displayed when using "Cast Media to Device" from "More Tools" would seem to indicate there are now restrictions on what source and/or material can be cast to a connected device (wired or wireless).

I have been through setting all recommended flags, loading optional Wireless display services, Miracast confirmed, etc

Please advise :

• What has Microsoft changed with respect to casting using Edge.
  
• When did this change take place and specific reasons for the imposed limitation on what source(s) can be cast
