Windows 10: Windows 11 Shut down popup and closing applications

I have a fairly new PC - bought within the past two years or so. The windows 11 Shut down screen keeps popping up, and when I restart the computer through the popup or just through settings itself, it's not resolved. Not only this, but any applications I have open get closed. I can't even have settings open for more than 10 seconds before it closes.I tried running the CMD health scans but it closes before the scan can reach 10%. I checked for updates and was able to scan for viruses, and it came back normal.

• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this happening?
• When did the issue start?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Event ID 26 Application popup, Application error

Hello,

I have some servers that are still running under windows 2012r2.

Sometimes, users get a popup with the following errors :

Application popup: WerFault.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.



Application popup: RdrCEF.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application.

I updated adobe reader and still get the error.

Is it related to user profile ?

Can we disabled those application popup ?
