Enabling auto sign-in in Windows 10?

I have done it four time. I go to the netplwiz, I put my user name, I put my password, I click OK, I restart, and ut's like nothong happened. On log-in screen it still tells me my user name and password are incorrect and then I'm forced to switch to the
PIN screen because it's not recognizing any of my passwords.

I also did this as suggested above:

    3. Scroll down to bottom and you'll see "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart" option. Set the option to OFF.

It did not work as well.

I think auto sign-in should be default and then if you want secure password then you can do it, why are they forcing us to go through these stages? The netplwiz method is not even apprent in Windows, you have to specifically Google for it, in other words,
you have to actually make an effort to figure out how to enable auto sign-in!

    Auto sign in problem.

Tnx guys, finally fixed it, Had to reinstate (and change) PIN (which was disabled) and than signed in with it. Got and used option in netplwiz to set auto login. Now it's what it should be. After every change had to reboot and go step by step.
Now to check and clean system and make a new MR backup and restore point.
Looking back I think it all started with KeePass which is now gone. I'm back on writing down passwords on paper and in a text file on desktop. That never fail as long as it's updated.
