Windows 10: Windows 11 since ever - File Explorer takes forever to show photos sorted by date/descending

I never understood why File Explorer takes so long to show my photos 2500 photos sorted by creation date/descending. It sucks. I have already deleted my indexes and reindexed them, have deleted thumbnails and generated them again.I've been a Windows Insider for many years and can't remember when this issue started. But the worst sensation is that a third-party file Explorer Files app is much faster than the MS File Explorer. And it has been like this for years I used it. File Explorer brings the files sorted by name and when I change it to Creation Date/Descending, it takes around 30 to 40

How can I sort files in the "directory" so that folders are listed alphabetically and below the files are in descending date order. "date modified. The fix for Windows 7 is not working for me. It can sort by descending date modified which puts the folders
at the bottom of the list or by name which puts folders at top and files below all alphabetically.

I have folders full of photos. Some cameras start the filenames with the date, some with IMG_, some with IMG-, etc.

To get the latest ones sorted at the top of the list in File Explorer, I insert the Date Taken column in the column list and sort by that.

So looking at the files in File Explorer in Details view, I sort by Date Taken. In the list all looks correct.

Then I double-click on the first photo and it opens with the built-in Photos application.

When I look at the photos in a C: drive folder, they appear in order.

When I sort the files with File Explorer by Date Taken on my Android 9 phone, imagine my surprise when the pics have been sorted and displayed by months, even though they are shown in proper date order in File Explorer. So, first the August 2019 photos
appear, then the August 2018, then the August 2017, etc, before the July 2019 pics come up.

Is it the Photos program, or its interaction with the File Explorer, or the translation from Android? It used to be that the Photos application would display in whatever order the File Explorer organized them. Now it does not.

Can this be addressed? Is there a setting in File Explorer or Photos that will change the sorting format?

File Explorer sort by date not accurate

I want to sort my files by Date Descending so the file name shouldn't matter. Here is a screenshot of File Explorer, how does windows get the Generic DATE column and why does that differ from DATE SAVED column? I always assumed they were the same. And thank you for all of your help!
