    Windows 11 Snipping Tool Question

I have a Windows 11 laptop, and am confused by something somewhat innocuous....I am trying to use the Snipping Tool to take screenshots, but cannot find where they are being saved to. Everything I have seen / heard seems to imply that they are saved to a folder named Screenshots that is located inside of Pictures, but there is no such folder there. When I use the Snipping Tool, it comes back saying Saved to Clipboard, but that is not useful to me at all, as I need to view these screenshots, and have no clue where the Clipboard images are located on the device either. Can someone point me in the

  3. Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.

im curious if i could compress, and upload the application to this post? 7zip doesnt seem to be allowed

    Windows 11 Snipping Tool Question

    Snipping tool not working

I'm trying to use the Snipping Tool (Windows+Shift+S) but when it opens up to let me select which part of the screen to select, it blanks out the entire screen so that there is nothing to select. I'm not sure when this stopped working since I do not use it very often. I'm using:

    • Edition Windows 11 Pro
    • Version 21H2
    • Installed on ‎11/‎6/‎2021
    • OS build 22000.613
    • Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0
    • The Snipping Tool shows version 11.2201.12.0
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you!
