  1. Windows 11 sound without auxiliary sound output devices is always like it's on volume 100

My pure output sound was okay for some time, but after some update maybe it became outputting it as 100 volume was set, even though it was deliberately put on 1. When I connect any devices like earphones it is okay with settings, but without anything it's impossible to listen to anything as it's immeasurably loud. I saw a similar question here and it suggested to roll back the audio drivers from Devices Manager. I tried doing that, but for one of the devices I have there it just crashes the system to BSOD and restarts without rollback done. Honestly the only solution I have right now is just p

  2. Fixate output volume 100%

    Hello theking2

Im Juliet and Im happy to help you Windows 11 sound without auxiliary sound output devices is always like it's on volume 100 :)

To ensure that the volume on your PC remains fixed at 100%, you can follow these steps:

    1. Locate the volume control icon in the system tray on your PC's taskbar. It is usually represented by a speaker icon. Alternatively, you can access the volume settings by right-clicking on the speaker icon and selecting "Open Volume Mixer" or "Open Sound Settings."

    2. Once you open the volume settings, you should see a volume slider. Set it to the maximum level, which is typically represented as 100%. This will set the volume level on your PC to the maximum.

    3. Next, make sure your PC's audio output is set to the correct audio device, which, in this case, is the receiver. To do this, right-click on the volume icon and select "Open Sound Settings" or "Playback devices."

    4. In the Sound Settings or Playback devices window, you should see a list of audio output devices. Locate your receiver or the audio output device that is connected to your receiver. It might be labeled as the receiver's brand name or as an HDMI or audio output port.

    5. Select your receiver or the appropriate audio output device, and make sure it is set as the default audio device. You can usually do this by right-clicking on the device and selecting "Set as Default Device" or "Set as Default Communication Device."

    6. Once you have set the receiver as the default audio device, the volume control on your PC should no longer affect the volume level. Instead, the volume will be controlled solely by the receiver. Adjust the volume on the receiver to the desired level.

By following these steps, you should be able to set your PC's volume to 100% and control the volume exclusively on your receiver.

Windows 11 volume sounds like 100 no matter what volume it is at

    Hello.

I noticed this issue a few days ago, and it's very annoying and I haven't been able to find a solution on the internet.

No matter what volume my laptop is at, it sounds like it's at 100. It could be at 2%, it will still sound like 100. It could be at 55%, it will still sound like 100. It's very obnoxiously loud. The only way the sound turns off is if the volume is completely off.

When headphones are connected, the sound works as normal, which leads me to believe it's not the volume slider's fault, but maybe something with the speakers?

I did have this load of realtek updates on the 16th Nov, which I found odd. Perhaps that's where the problems started?

Something I forgot to add is that I can control volume through other apps, for example spotify. So Spotify being at a really low level actually makes the music be at a normal level. The same is true with youtube, but that one is louder as the volume slider isnt as detailed. BUT, this only controls the volume of that app. System volume is still sounding like 100.

This is my laptop information -

    Device name LAPTOP-MQUHVN51

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics 2.38 GHz

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.36 GB usable)

    Device ID D611FB85-7549-47B8-BD3B-91B6144CF355

    Product ID 00325-82064-99134-AAOEM

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch Touch support with 10 touch points

    Please help.
