    Hi, new to audio.Just want to ask. I'm using DAC Type C dongle Conexant CX31993 to listen Tidal at Max Quality HiRes or MQA. By default when plugin the DAC, the audio sample rate is 16bit/48kHz and the Spatial Audio can be turned on. But when i changed the sample rate to the max at 32bit/384kHz, the Spatial Audio turned off by default, so i switched on the settings. After i close the settings and open it again, the sample rate turns back to 16bit/48kHz default setting.I did this many times, Until I just change sample rate to 32bit/384kHz and let the Spatial Audio turned off.     Sample rate Greyed out for Synaptics Audio

    Hardware acceleration often requires a specific sample rate.

    Spatial audio also might affect sample rate as well.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    The available Bluetooth audio sample rates may depend directly on the Bluetooth firmware or Bluetooth driver.



    We performed tests on Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 22H2 devices, using the WF-1000XM3.

    In Windows 10, only 44KHz is selectable, and in Windows 11, only 48KHz is selectable.

    For other wired connections, a variety of sample rates are available for some devices.

    The Bluetooth driver seems to exhibit different performance on Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices.

    Would you mind sharing more information on this issue with us?

    • Do Bluetooth and wired connections present the same results in your device?
    • Is the problem a recent phenomenon?

      Or has it existed for a long time?For example, has this been the case since Windows was installed?
