Windows 10: Windows 11 Start icon menu does not response with left mouse button. it does not show menu...

My windows 11 Start menu does not response with left mouse button. it does not sshow the installed applications. When clicks on it, it seems trying to run with displaying blue circle then nothing happens. How do I reset it back default again? Please help. You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

I tried everything you mentioned above but the issues are still the same.

My Dell AOI system with windows 10 Education version.

1. Start menu - Can't show the applications installed and other options with left-click mouse button

2. Taskbar with apps icons - does not show pop-up options to start/close the application with right-click mouse button.

3. Search box is not available - I tried all configurations in Microsoft "The complete guide to personalizing the taskbar in Windows 10", but the Search box is not displayed. I can't elevate my privilege to the administrator to run DISM or SFC tool.

@oil: That's what I did, but unfortunately it's different, it should be like "Internet" and should have the icon of FireFox.

So.. Remove the icon via Start menu properties, uninstall FF (again) and install?
