Windows 10: Windows 11 Start menu icons don't appear on search

When I use the search feature on the windows 11 start menu, for certain preinstalled windows store apps the icons will not appear on the right hand side, despite showing everywhere else. This does not apply to all windows store apps or even uninstalled ones. The programs I have found have this issue are Microsoft To-do, Paint, Mail, Photos, and Clipchamp. Additionally, Photos and Clipchamp don't show their icons on the left side of the search list.The programs run fine and have their icons in the pinned apps and full apps list, only during the search action. You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

Hey guys I need your help fixing the default access icon on the start menu, as far as google searches suggested default user access and all it only fixes the IE icon, but when I chose fire fox to display it's just a globe when clicked on it still displays IE's properties but doesn't start firefox instead. Help please? *Respect :respect:*Cry :cry:

BTW it was not like this before, I just wanted a clean install for my browser.

  Are you able to find the Icons, when you click on
  All apps in the start menu?

  What is the make and model of your computer?
  

As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to search for the Icons in the search bar, if the icon appears in the search list then
right click on the icon and select Pin to Start and check if the icons appears in the start menu.

If the issue persists, Perform System File Checker (sfc) scan and check if it helps.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Note: Steps mentioned for Windows 8/8.1, will work fine with Windows 10.
