Windows 10: Windows 11 stopped detecting my monitor – worked fine for months

Hi everyone,I upgraded to Windows 11 around 5–6 months ago, and everything had been working perfectly until just yesterday. When I turned on my PC, my monitor was suddenly not being detected at all. What happened:I powered on the PC as usual, but the monitor showed no signal.I tried restarting multiple times, unplugging and replugging the monitor, but it still wasn’t detected.I then uninstalled the display driver via Device Manager and reinstalled it using the one from the manufacturer, but that didn’t fix the issue either.The monitor remains black, like it's not receiving any si

Windows 11 cannot detect my second monitor. Help. I did all the suggested troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work.

 

Window 11 PC Stopped Detecting Second Monitor

Hi,

I’m using a i7 Dell XPS 9th gen with 2023 LG 27” external monitor. I’ve updated windows but it still cannot detect the external monitor. I tried display driver update but it says it already has the best driver. Have restarted as well. I would like to use the “extend display” mode. I’ve had the monitor for two months during which it worked fine, but today it stopped and cannot be detected. Powering on the monitor, it‘s internal menu system is working normally. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Windows 11 will not detect second monitor

I have 2 Lenovo laptops that were upgraded to Windows 11. External monitors worked for a couple of months. In late 2022, both stopped detecting the monitor. I have had all drivers up to date. In one of them Lenovo replaced the motherboard and ports with still no luck. I have tried different cables, HDMI-USB C adapters and monitors. Has anyone found resolution to this?
