Windows 10: Windows 11 Super high ram usage with nothing running

    is there a fix to windows hogging up so much ram will all startup apps closed and just windows processes running windows uses around 10 GB of my 16GB of ram. If I even attempt to play a game after 5 minutes ram hits 100% used and windows force closes my game is there any fix short of a possible format and reload of the system.System specs i7 10th gen16GB DDR4 3200RTX 2070 8GB GDDR62x 1TB m.2 drives

    High Ram Usage

    Hi there,

    So this is the problem, From the time I bought this brand new IdeaPad Flex 5 (itlo5) 14" laptop, there has always been high ram usage when I look in task manager. The ram usage has always been around 80%. I have tried to clean install windows (which removes all bloatware from the manufacturer) but there is still high ram usage. My old HP laptop had the same amount of ram as this laptop (4GB) but the speed of the ram was slower. And the ram usage had been lower than this laptop!

    but when i run games that uses 1gb or more ram my ram usage becomes 90-96 and the computer starts lagging.

    I am not sure why windows is taking 6.4GB of memory I have only chrome running with four tabs opened.
