    windows 11 supports HLG HDR?


    I have an application to view 4K HDR video on windows 11. My computer graphic card is Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. My screen is capable of displaying over 1000 nit, 4k resolution. The video content is HLG HDR, not PQ HDR. Will the color be displayed correctly ?

    I would contact LG Support which is included with the monitor purchase for at least the first year, during which they must get it working properly or repair or replace it under warranty.

    HDR and Washed out colors

    Turn on dynamic full range for your GPU

    Turn off the HDR crap in Windows:

    If a game supports HDR, like Mass Effect Andromeda, it will automatically detect your TV supports it and switches it on, and you can verify it is on in the settings of games that support HDR, usually it will say on or off.

    And lastly it will all depend on what kind of HDR your screen supports: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision and Advanced HDR by Technicolor.

    HDR is not supported

    I can only suggest you contact Lenovo support to verify which driver package you should be using so that HDR is enabled for this device.
