Windows 10: Windows 11 Surface Go not connecting to internet

I have a windows surface Go, update windows 11. Has been refusing to connect to the internet: no matter what type wireless, hot spot I’ve tried everything my laptop has told me to and I’ve restarted multiple times. Nothing can fix it. What’s wrong?

Based on the description, please be informed that to share internet connection from surface pro you need to activate the hotspot on surface pro. Follow the below steps to turn on the hotspot.

• 
  Press Windows key +X to open the power user settings menu and choose “Command Prompt (Admin)“.
  
• 
  Enter the following command, replacing the values for SSID and key with the network name and password you want:

  netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=AdHoc key=password
  
• 
  Run the following command to start the network:
  
• 
  netsh wlan start hostednetwork
  
• 
  Search in the Start menu for “View network connections.”
  
• 
  Right-click your main ethernet connection and choose “Properties.”
  
• 
  Under the “Sharing” tab, click the box labeled “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection.”
  
• 
  In the drop down below the above box, choose the network connection that currently has internet access. Click
  OK.
  

Note: The hotspot connection will
work as long as the Windows machine that’s running the network is active.

Try the following steps:

After upgrading to windows 10, internet connectivity drops frequently for some applications, but not all

Please answer these questions to assist you better.

• In which browser are you facing this issue e.g. Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer?
• Do you get any error message?
• Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
• Do you face connection fluctuation in Ethernet connection?
• Is the issue specific to any particular website?

I suggest you to try connecting to Ethernet connection and check if face same issue. Also install all pending Windows updates Further you can refer the link below and follow the troubleshooting steps suggested.
