Currently, my system date format is set as “dd-MMM-yyyy” and is showing as “04-Dec-2024”However, I want my date format showing as “04-DEC-2024”.I want MMM showing in upper case DEC, instead of Dec.There is no way I can change it, even I changed the region/language, etc.I need an solution please.Thank youTerence Ng

You can change the time format to 24 hours in Date and Time settings. To do so, please follow these steps:

• In Cortana's search box, please type "Date and Time".
• Click on Change date and time format.
• To change the time to 24hr format, in the long and short time options, please click
  HH:MM from the drop down menu.
• For the date format, please choose dd/mmm/yy format.

The time and date displayed in taskbar is "Short Date" and to remove the day of the week, you need to set the Short Date format in Calendar settings. Here's how:

• Go to Control Panel > Clock and Region > Date and Time

• Click "Change date and time"

• Click "Change Calendar Settings"

• Click the "Date" tab

• Change the Short Date settings

Below are sample date formats and the result that you can use

dd-MM-yyyy (result is: 17-04-2020)

dd/MM/yyyy (result is: 17/04/2020)

dd MM yyyy (result is: 17 04 2020)

dd-MMM-yyyy (result is: 17-Apr-2020)

dd/MMM/yyyy (result is: 17/Apr/2020)

dd MMM yyyy (result is: 17 Apr 2020)

dd-MMM-yy (result is: 17-Apr-20)

dd/MMM/yy (result is: 17/Apr/20)

dd MMM yy (result is: 17 Apr 20)
