Windows 10: windows 11 system file folder glitched out briefly and then stopped

it seemed like someone had taken control of the system file folder for a couple of seconds and then it stopped and the screen went back to normal. i have checked the windows defender and the system health and privacy and it says that everything is fine and in good health. what could have been the cause of the windows system file folder glitching out briefly? since then the computer has been running very delayed, the typing is delayed, the mouse click performance has changed you have to click the mouse and then click it again then double click it to make it respond as though settings were chan

Removing errant files in the "System Volume Information" folder under Windows 10.

I suggest you to first stop Volume Shadow Copy service and try to remove the files and check. Follow the steps provided below:

Step 1: Stop Volume Shadow Copy service

  Press Windows logo Key + R key.

  Type services.msc.
  
• 
  Search for Volume Shadow Copy service.
  
• 
  Right click on it and select
  Stop.
  

Now, take ownership of the System volume Information folder and then try to delete its contents.

Step 2: File permissions.

• Right click on System volume Information folder.
• Select Properties.
• Go to Security tab.
• Select the user name.
• Click on Edit button.
• Under permission to Authenticated user, check on full control.
• Click on Apply and OK button.
