    Windows 11 takes over 5 minutes to save a file


    After a recent failed windows 11 update, I was forced to get a new SSD for my boot drive as Windows refused to reload, reboot, or do anything on my old drive. Now, since I had to completely reinstall not only windows but every other program in my system, after the KB5031354 update it takes over 5 minutes to save a file. Below is my system: Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics 3.80 GHz Installed RAM: 128 GB 128 GB usable System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorEdition: Windows 11 ProVersion 22H2; Installed on 9/‎22/‎2023 OS build 22621.2428Experience Windows F

    Saves log files ?

    You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

    You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

    my son laptiop wifi disconnect after 5 minutes

    • If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

    Big thanks for finding this! Really the most clear concise description of the process along with Windows Install screen shots which now allows me to conceptualize what I would need to do for a clean install of Windows 11 on a non-TPM machine, something I wasn't sure was possible till now.
