    Windows 11 - TAPI TSP crashes - no more calls can be made until restart the service


    Hello,since we use our new pc´s with windows 11 every of our users non-admin-accounts report us problems with crashed TAPI-Connection.After a while maybe a few hours? TAPI will not collect incoming calls and outgoing calls reported by "no more calls can be made". When the problem occurs, we still see the available TAPI line in the trace tool "TapiCaps". The only solution will be to restart the "TapiSrv"-Service with an admin-account, then all works again. We already tried to analyze that issue with event-log, but can´t find any related entries.

    I am having the same issues.

    It seems the windows 10 TAPI fails to initialize! I can not believe how Microsoft could release like that and not fix it yet.

    Here is how to reproduce it - download sample code from here. And run the program and see tapi.Initialize() fails to return (forever loop).

    Windows 8 TAPI 3 in C# - Get Lines and make a call, see calls incomming sample in C# for Visual Studio 2010

    Would appreciate a response from anyone if they have a work around. I need to for a high priority customer issue. Thanks!

    I am having the issues with TAPI and my search shows that all users face the same.

    It seems the windows 10 TAPI fails to initialize! I can not believe how Microsoft could release like that and not fix it yet.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
