Windows 10: Windows 11 Task Manager Memory Leak

High system memory usage/leak while Task Manager is open.This process was consuming ~40% of my total system memory over the course of 8 days, just having it run and idling in the background with little interactivity with the window, just checking it from time to time what the system memory usage is during app development using docker.Task Manager did not actually reveal the high usage was coming from Task Manager itself, Process Monitor showed that Task Manager had an awfully high amount of memory usage, once I closed Task Manager my system memory consumption dropped by ~40%, system uptime is

I suggest you to stop the game from the Task Manager and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic.

Follow the below steps to run Windows Memory Diagnostic:

  Type memory diagnostic in the search bar and click on the

If the computer becomes low on memory whenever you run certain programs, one or more of those programs might have a memory leak. To stop a memory leak, you need to close the program. To repair a memory leak, you need to check for updates for the program
or contact the publisher of the software.

To determine which program is using the most memory, follow these steps:

  Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking
  Start Task Manager.

  Click the Processes tab.

  To sort programs by memory usage, click Memory (Private Working Set).
