  1. Windows 11 Taskbar Auto hide option

Prior to upgrading to W11, I was able to have multiple applications running in full screen mode 3 Excel Spread sheets, 2 Word Documents, Outlook, Paint, etc. and have the taskbar set to auto-hide and reappear when I moved my mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen. When bringing up the taskbar from autohide with my mouse with other applications running in full screen mode, I was easily able to select and see and select other open application files I was working with. I am not a gamer and this feature has never impacted me or interrupted me in any way. Infact, I found this feature to be very

  2. how to effectively hide or disable the taskbar?

    Hi,

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?

If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

    • Right click on Taskbar.
    • Click on Properties
    • Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
    • Click on OK.

    Hope this information helps.

  4. Windows 11 Taskbar Auto hide option

    Auto hide taskbar not working

    I know how to 'auto-hide'!

IT IS NOT WORKING - the frustrating thing is that this is a known problem and is not being addressed. It may appear to be a small matter but it is not. Wherever the taskbar is situated (top, bottom, either side) it covers part of the screen and is TOTALLY
    annoying!!!!!!!

PLEASE FIX IT and help us all.
