Windows 10: Windows 11 Taskbar Customizations

I manage a few thousand Windows Workstation systems but have been slow to take a critical look at the new UI and the viability of transitioning the staff to it. Once I got into it, I discovered that Microsoft has rewritten all the Taskbar code for UWP, forgoing all the rich features in the older code that I believe have a real impact on staff productivity and satisfaction.I was eager to begin transitioning new computer to Windows 11 during our Q2 lease churn. I've since decided to hold on this until I get a better understanding of Microsoft's agenda. I foresee a lot of pushback from our engine

Moving the taskbar

Hi Kim,

You can customize your taskbar to pin your favorite apps to it, move it to where you want to display on your screen, and specify how taskbar buttons group together when you have more than one window open. To address your question, we suggest
that you follow these steps on how to move your taskbar to a different location on the screen:

• Open Settings and choose Personalization.
• Select Taskbar.
• Under Taskbar location on the screen, click the drop-down menu and select
  Bottom.

internet explorer 11 taskbar not grouping and invisible IE HELP!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I suggest you to reset Explorer.exe and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below.

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.
    

If issue still persists, I suggest you to reset Internet Explorer and verify the result.

Disclaimer: Please note that resetting Internet Explorer Settings will reset all user-defined settings including those set by installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons to IE Defaults. This includes all Security,
