Windows 10: Windows 11 taskbar issue where hovering over programs doesn't show a preview nor give...

Hi there,I've been using Windows 11 for a long time without many issues, that was with the 21H2 build though. The first thing I did once I installed Windows 11 getting the look and feel of the Windows 10 taskbar back, for that I used something called TaskbarXI.exe and TaskbarXIMFCGUI.exe, and those worked great. And after a long time and many Windows updates it was still perfect, but then here yesterday I decided to update to the Windows 11 22H2 build and that's where the issue seen in this video "https://youtu.be/NOLXsV8RhOY" popped up. Windows 10 taskbar app icon not showing preview (Taskbar Hover preview)

Hi,I found that when I hovered my mouse pointer over the app icons on taskbar. Windows didn't show a preview (a small window above the app icon) of the apps like it used to. I am wondering how to fix this?

How to OPEN Programs in Taskbar Preview WITHOUT Clicking ??

@Triliuner I'm sorry to hear it's not as simple as that.

When you have multiple windows opened from a single application e.g. 2 separate windows from Chrome, do they show up as previews when you hover over Chrome's icon in the taskbar, or as a list? Just asking to clarify that, they are at least showing as previews. If not, this should help: Change Taskbar Thumbnail Threshold to Show List in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials

As for the different windows not showing when you hover your mouse over a preview, maybe it has something to do with the delay, see here: Change Delay Time to Show Taskbar Thumbnails in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials (restoring the default value)
