Windows 10: Windows 11 - Taskbar not loading MS Settings error

I am seeing issues with Windows 11 Taskbar not loading shows spinning blue circle and also MS:Settings is saying 'This file does not have a file associated with it for performing this action, Please install an app or if one is already installed create an association in the Default Apps settings page.Things I have tried;1. SFC Scannow no issues found2. DISM No issues found3. Ran the following; Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml”} 4. Booted into Safe mode this works but I cannot even roll back or

Taskbar wont load, cannot open files, settings not accessible. Windows 11

Does this apply? Can we not try this?

Recently, Windows Insiders in both the Dev and Beta Channels began reporting that Start and Taskbar were unresponsive and Settings and other areas of the OS wouldn’t load. We quickly discovered an issue with a server-side deployment that went out to Insiders and canceled that deployment. If you were impacted by this issue, you can use the following steps to get back into a working state on your PC.

• Step 1: Use CTRL-ALT-DEL and choose to open Task Manager.
  
• Step 2: Choose “More details” at the bottom of Task Manager to expand Task Manager.
  
• Step 3: Go to “File” and choose “Run new task”.
  
• Step 4: Type “cmd” in the “Open” field.
  
• Step 5: Paste the following (everything in bold):
  reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\IrisService /f && shutdown -r -t 0
  
• Step 6: Hit enter, and then your PC should reboot. After rebooting, everything should be back to normal.
  

 

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.
