Windows 10: Windows 11 Taskbar only shows "Search icon only" even when "Search Box" is selected.

Hi,I just noticed that my taskbar will only show Search Icon even when the Search Box is selected in Taskbar personalization.I tried changing the options to "Hide" --> Works Fine,"Search icon only" --> Works fine,"Search icon and label" --> Works fine,"Search box" --> Shows same as Search icon only.The searches work fine on all the options.I tried the system file checker, and no errors were found. My system is up to date and all the drivers are installed properly.Is there any way to fix this?

No search box on taskbar

I understand your concern about search box in Windows 10.

Please try the below and check if you can see search bar on taskbar:

Steps:

• Right click on Taskbar, move the mouse cursor on to
  Search option.
• Select Show Search icon (You will see Search icon beside Start)
• Select Show search bar (You will see Search bar beside Start)

This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
• Select Show search box.

I HATE THE NEW SEARCH BOX IN WINDOWS 11 TASKBAR

The new Windows 11 search box from taskbar looks like rubbish. I want to revert to the old design for search option in taskbar: the simple icon, but Microsoft is not giving me this possibility. A lot of people said that the new search box looks horrible!

I hate it! Why is no option to select between 3 options like in windows 10: 1) to show search icon 2) to show search box 3) to hide search option?

There are 2 reasons for me to return to old design. First: the search box takes up too much space on taskbar, and the second: I hate how it looks.

I WANT THE OLD SEARCH ICON ON MY TASKBAR NOW!
