    Windows 11 taskbar search not finding all the documents with names containing the same keyword.


    In my case I am searching for documents with keyword “manual”. Windows taskbar search comes up with some documents but not all even though they are in the same folder. Expanding the search with Explorer does find many additional documents with the keyword highlighted in the title. See Screenshot below for an example of one file found by explorer but not by the initial windows search. The documents that are being missed are either Word or pdf documents with no rhyme or reason why some are found and not others. Searching using a different keyword

    Windows 11 Cortana/Taskbar search

    Is there any way to change settings of Windows 10/11 when user search via taskbar/Cortana search and select Documents in option, that search result would include indexes result as well. Right now user can search for indexed folder via File Explorer, in taskbar search it would not find results and suggest to search (with link) in file explorer. Thank you for suggestions.

    how to search keywords inside a docx document??

    I mean. I have many many docx documents under a directory. I can remember there is one keywords in the lines of the document, but I don't know which document it is. And the filename does not contain the keyword. How can I find out which document it is among many docx files

    For example. I've got 100 files and their filenames are 1.docx 2.docx 3.docx ..... 100.docx

    and I know in one of the files there are keywords "Happy", but I don't know which file it is, but I don't want to go over each file and search for it otherwise ti will be very painful

    The main problem is that the search function does not find many items at all, and not that they are insufficiently filtered. For example I searched today by entering the last name of a person for whom I have the resume, a contact VM on Outlook, and several
    emails received over the last 15 years , the latest ones these last 2 weeks. These last emails are still in my inbox, and they have a signature with the person's name, phone, email address. If I enter the person's last name, it does not find any of these
    documents. Same if I enter his email address or his phone number. It only finds a very old irrelevant email stored in a folder I my documents where the person's email address is listed in the CC field.

    The above is only one example. I could list many more. In Windows 7, when I entered a person's name in the search field, it would list absolutely all documents, contacts, emails, pictures etc that contained the name somewhere. That is the kind of capability
    I would like to recover.

    Perhaps is it possible to download and install the Windows 7 Search feature in Windows 10?
