Windows 10: Windows 11 Taskbar Settings Crashing

I got a new laptop today that has Windows 11, and it isn't letting me change any of the taskbar settings.When either right clicking the taskbar and selecting settings, or opening the taskbar settings through the personalization menu simply causes the settings window to force close. It doesn't give me any error or warning, simply closes the window.Windows came preinstalled on the machine and everything has worked fine so far, this is the only issue I've run into. Have restarted and checked for updates several times.

Step 3: Clear caches and cookies

  Open Microsoft EDGE.

  After that click on (…) “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.

  Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.

  Once you click on this option you will see list of feature, Select Cached data and file.
  
• 
  Here you need to check the option you want to clear and click “Clear” button.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

I suggest you to reset Explorer.exe and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below.

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.
    

If issue still persists, I suggest you to reset Internet Explorer and verify the result.
