Windows 10: Windows 11, text to speech duplicating everything

I found this same question from a year ago and it was not resolved. I just discovered a solution that works for me, but that post is closed. I just wanted to get the info out there...After playing around for a bit, I was able to fix the repeated typing in Windows 11 by going to System > Sound > Properties and turning off “audio enhancements.” Other search terms people might use for this:voice access typing everything twice speech recognition repeating words

Windows 11, text to speech duplicating everything

I have a new computer with Windows 11. When I am using speech to text, it is duplicating everything. Is there a way to fix this? I use this for work and not having speech to text slows my workflow down significantly.

This was not helpful. The speech to text duplicates about every second word spoken. For instance, If I say, "The patient" it will type the patient the patient. It seems to only do this in one program that I currently use for my work. The program is PDF Filler.

Do you have any suggestions?

Do you heard of software which can read text in any application and convert text to mp3, wav, ogg or vox files? I known one - Alive Text to Speech , but it is not a free software, i can use it for 20 days.

Do you recommend a free software?
