    Dear Community,Last weekend I installed my new laptop, a Dell with 16GB RAM and 1TB diskspace and 13th Gen IntelR CoreTM i7-1355U 1.70 GHz.The Windows 11 version is Edition Windows 11 HomeVersion 23H2Installed on ‎28/‎04/‎2024OS build 22631.4460Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1047.0After Windows updates and sometimes out of the blue I experience strange behavior. Suddenly my chosen password of my administrator account does not work anymore and do I need to unlock the laptop with a pin code. How? I did not configure that? Disabling this option is not possible, the ch

    Vista Pre-SP1 vs. Vista SP1

    I've been Windows Updating for two straight days and I finally saw SP1. If you want to troubleshoot it, follow these steps:

    • Show hidden updates
    • Manually install any failed updates (google the KB_____ and install from the windows site)
    • Make sure everything in Device Manager is good to go
    I had to do step two for like 4 or 5 updates to be able to see SP1.

    Any other benchmarks you guys want to see? I might try PCMark05 (I think it works on Vista).

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
