Subject: Windows 11: The Read-Only Struggle is RealDear Microsoft,I’d like to thank you for the thrilling challenge of trying to edit my own files. It’s been a delightful exercise in patience, endurance, and the art of yelling at my computer screen. However, I think it’s time we acknowledge that an operating system shouldn’t be fighting me for control of my own machine.Despite being the rightful owner of this device, Windows insists on locking files and drives into Read-Only mode as if they’re national secrets. I appreciate a good security feature, but when I can’t even change my own settings

Reading Mode on Windows 11

Hi,

I’m struggling with eye strain and discomfort while reading on-screen text, be it from websites, Word documents, or PDFs. I’m searching for a tool or app in Windows 11 that can activate a ‘reading mode’ similar to what’s available on Android devices, where the screen dims except for a narrow horizontal band that follows my mouse line by line. Can anyone suggest a solution please?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 10 Struggles

Yes, it's been a real struggle. For a long time every update resulted in a series of different blue screens... kernel not found, attempted write to read-only memory, and so on.

Now that has stopped, but the latest update has tripped something that causes my computer to think it's a different computer, as far as licensing goes. My Windows 10 activation is gone.
