Windows 10: Windows 11 too light of a touch

I have a new laptop with Windows 11. I use the fingerpad to move around and new windows keep opening up. Other times when I want to open a new window I have to hit it several times and often times hard enough to feel the click. I had this all typed out before and it just disappeared. I had to start all over again. Is this something with Windows 11 or is it the new laptop? I wish I could go back to Windows 10.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

Method 1: Try to run a inbuilt
Hardware troubleshooter
and check.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your touch Screen. Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting
  and click on the view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions and check.
  

Method 2.Try updating the Touch screen drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the touch Screendrivers:

• Press Windows key + X key and click
  Device Manager.
  
• Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
  
• Right-click on the Sound card and click on
  Update driver software.
  
• Restart the computer and check.

This issue might be due to drivers which are to be updated.



I suggest you to update the drivers for touch feature in Device Manager:

Steps:

• Right click on Windows key from the desktop and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand Human Interface Devices, right click on the
  Touch screen driver and select Update Driver Software.

Also, I suggest you to contact the device manufacturer website and try to update the chipset drivers as well.
