Windows 10: Windows 11 Trackpad randomly lagging

So I have this issue where at random times, the trackpad becomes lagging and slow. It feels like I have to drag the cursor through jello to move it anywhere, there is noticeable input delay, and the cursor speed feels like it's trying to smooth itself out somehow hence the jello thing. This does not happen all the time, and it happens randomly and for random intervals. Sometimes it's slow for an hour, sometimes it's slow for a minute, back to normal, then slow again after 30 seconds. Just while writing this question up, it's been slow, normal, slow, and now normal again. Restarting my comput

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

trackpad not working

No. Because the troubleshooting guide on device manager wont even resolve my solution as it is also a basic and one of the primary steps to do but no avail. Tried installing powerplan7 and trackpad++ suggested by relentless on apple forums but with
no success for me. Until now i can't use windows 10 installed on my macbook pro 15inch late 2008 because of the trackpad/touchpad failure.

1. Press Windows key + X and select device manager.

2. Click "view" and select "show hidden devices".

3. If the trackpad driver is listed, right click on the driver and uninstall it.

4. Restart the computer and have Windows automatically install the driver upon restart.
